This is a blog detailing my personal journey as I await a pancreas transplant, after 20+ years of being a Type 1 diabetic. I am 28 years old and have dreamed of a cure since being diagnosed. I was told as a child that a cure was less than 10 years away, and yet we are all still waiting. I will post every minute detail of my journey, my hopes, fears and outcomes:)
